Every PCS ends with the same chore: telling a dozen organizations you moved. This tool takes your old address, new address, and report date, and generates ready-to-send change-of-address letters and a contact sheet — with per-provider instructions for where each update actually happens (many, like DEERS and TSP, are account settings rather than letters).

The DEERS update matters most: TRICARE coverage and several auto-synced accounts follow the address on file there, not the one on your mail.
The order that avoids missed mail
- USPS mail forwarding first — file the change of address about two weeks before you leave. Forwarding catches everything you forget below, but only for 12 months on first-class mail, so it is the safety net rather than the fix.
- DEERS on arrival — update it as soon as you have a physical address at the new station. TRICARE enrollment regions and referrals key off DEERS, and an OCONUS-to-CONUS move can change your coverage options entirely.
- Pay-adjacent accounts next — myPay correspondence address, TSP, banks, and insurers. A stale address here means tax documents and debit card reissues chase your old quarters.
- Utilities and subscriptions last — disconnect and connect dates are already on your PCS checklist at the 30-day mark; everything else can follow once the essentials are moved.
