Military pay, without the runaround

Military pay is public information, but getting a straight answer usually means digging through PDFs, acronyms, and forum threads from 2011. MilPayGuide exists to make every dollar of military compensation — basic pay, BAH, BAS, special pays, retirement — easy to look up, easy to understand, and easy to plan around.

Every figure traces to officially published DFAS and DoD rate tables (see the methodology), and anything that is a projection or estimate says so right next to the number. Accuracy is the entire point: a wrong dollar figure costs you real money at the finance office.

The Site is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Defense or any branch of the Armed Forces, and it is supported by advertising rather than by selling your data.
